Connecting to another walkie brand

Postby feigel_k » Thu Oct 13, 2016 1:32 pm

Hello,
I have recently bought the BAOFENG BF- 888S. I previous bought Floureon walkies https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00U8AS5N6/re ... UTF8&psc=1
and wanted to connect them so we can use all the walkies we have purchased at once. Is there a way to get them on the same channel?

Thank you!

I looked up the two types of radios you are using. The Floureon are programed by channel. Get a frequency guide online
from FCC or some radio shops provide guides online. It will show the frequency that channel is assigned.
Using the channel that cooresponds to the frequency in the UHF band. The Baofeng only tunes by frequency since it is meant to be a Ham Radio.

That should be all you need to do.

Don't forget to save the frequencies in the 888s to memory. I think there are 16 in that model so that
gives you 16 channels (saved) there is no way to distinquish channels except to use a memory number
with the frequency/channel corresponding to the channel number
