I purchased 2 of these radios and am extremely dissappointed that accessories shown in the manual are difficult to find and /or do not exist. Too bad because this is a good little radio.
1. Speaker Mic BF-S112 is listed as working with all Baofeng radios yet I can not get confirmation that it will work with my radios. I have a UV5R-V2+ with a speaker mic that works on it but not the 997-S. (not sure if it is the BF-S112)
2. The battery eliminator shown apparently does not exist ! I have written direct to Baofeng and they simply say "not available". Quite frankly I think it was never available!
